Consider how much we know about how the human body works. From conception to death, we have an amazing understanding of the physiological process. Sure we need to understand how to combat and fight some diseases but for the most part we know that the body basically an organic machine. Junk in - junk out.

Like most complex systems, knowing the science behind the human body hasn't helped us address the business models that drive "Health Care". Individuals are left to struggle for some kind of healthy lifestyle in a society that actively conspires to keep us in a constant state of illness.

If we had the political will to fundementally change the way we look at the system we could revolutionize the world in less than ten years. As long as we are willing to look at band-aid approaches to a bleeding artery we'll remain stuck with Sick Care rather than Health Care.

If we were all healthy, the "Health Care" Industry would be out of business.
